Dudes Should Want to Live in My City

Cape Town Featured South Africa

capetowncity

AskMen.com ranked Cape Town at 27th out of the top 29 cities in the world for guys to live in. That’s pretty impressive for us little known ‘developing’ country to have our most cosmopolitan city in the top 29. Especially impressive in that we beat cities like Hamburg (28), Edinburgh (29) and other cities like Seattle, Singapore, Perth, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and Munich which didn’t make the list. Beer must be too expensive in those places.

According to the 2001 Census, Cape Town’s ratio of women to men is greater than 2:1. That might influence men’s perceptions. :-) And it surely adds a different slant to: “Why are there so many women in our Church?”

ok that is just plain weird given that we are also the gay capital of Africa! Except I suppose it means that besides the natural beauty, the great people, the brilliant sports teams :) there is also more women to go around for the “dudes”.

That’s a fantastic photo of the city. I haven’t seen too many photos of Cape Town, but this one is great.
