Hey
I am very glad that pastors from different are working together.
Here is a thought. How do you encourage the ‘normal’ members of congregations as well!
A friend of mine was a member of a church in Cape Town and she felt very out of the loop when he pastor told her about the ‘mixing’ he was doing was quite discouraged. A lot of things are ‘going on’ but local members seem to be out of the loop.
Now to be fair a lot of people from different churches do mix. However a question I get asked is when I visit another church is “are you jumping ship” am leaving churches.
If there was talk with the congregation and partnership/collaberation then I think that we would see each other as partners and not opponents.
